Joe Dokes, CLU Licensed Insurance Agent

Dear Santa:

In all honestly, I haven't really been all that good this year, but I have a long list for you anyway. I'm afraid some of my more unusual requests here will require that old "Santa Claus magic" ,?? but just do what you can for me, OK?

o New laptop computer, no brand preference (The one you brought me last year crashed the day I started selling health insurance again)

o One of those cool telephone/fax machine/printer/scanner/copier/toaster/waffle-maker combination deals (And then do remember to take as many of the 31 extension cords here in my office as you or your elves have need of!)

o Some renewed enthusiasm for selling (Yep, same request as the last four years!)

o More underwriters who understand lots of prospects just won't be that healthy

o Some healthy prospects

o little LOT more humor for all areas of the insurance industry

o Insurance meetings that don't contain every single sales clich? in the book

o Less direct mail about "earning big commissions"

o More actual big commissions!!!

o 4 prospects who won't begin by assuming I am a deceitful bore
o clients who truly appreciate what I do for them
o regional managers who will actually listen to what I have to say
o other agent I can be close friends with
o partridge in a pear tree (Hey, why not?!!)

OK, Santa, I guess that's it. Except that honestly, if you would rather just scrap my whole list here in exchange for a little more goodwill and mutual respect throughout the whole insurance profession, please feel free!!

Happy Holidays to you and all of your little helper guys,

Joe Dokes

PS. You know that Daisy Red Ryder BB gun I asked for as a kid, but you never brought me? I'd still like to have one!!
