LIFE Foundation Encourages Agents to Submit Their Best realLIFEstories

To help Americans understand the essential role of insurance within a sound financial plan, the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE) and Newsweek are teaming up for the 13th consecutive year to sponsor the realLIFEstories Client Service Award program. The realLIFEstories program recognizes insurance professionals whose services have made an extraordinary difference in their clients' lives.

LIFE encourages agents to submit stories from their careers that showcase how the benefits of life, disability income, long term care, critical illness, or health insurance have helped their clients overcome difficult emotional and financial obstacles. An independent panel of judges will review all submissions and choose four winners to be featured in a special advertising section in Newsweek magazine, seen by more than 20 million readers.

To share a realLIFEstory, insurance professionals must submit an essay describing how insurance helped at least one of their clients at a time of great financial need. Applications may be submitted online through LIFE's Web site, www.lifehappens.org/reallife, and are due by March 31.
