Settlement Firm Steps Up Financing Search

Advanced Settlements Inc. has set up a global capital markets department to help it find new financing sources.

Advanced Settlements, Orlando, Fla, a life settlements firm, says the head of the department will be Matthew Ganovsky, the co-president of Advanced Settlements.

Dan Beatty, vice president of operations, and Joseph McCray, national trading director, also will work in the department.

Advanced Settlements is a unit of National Financial Partners Corp., New York.
