New York Life Insurance Company has agreed to be the presenting sponsor for the 2010 BIG EAST Men's and Women's Basketball Championships.
The 2010 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Championship is set to start March 5 at the XL Center in Hartford, and the 2010 BIG EAST Men's Basketball Championship is set to start March 9 in New York, at Madison Square Garden.
New York Life, New York, will run print, radio and online ads in connection with both events, and it will run a "major media package" on ESPN telecasts of men's and women's regular season league and tournament games, the company says.
The BIG EAST conference includes schools such as Georgetown University, Seton Hall University and the University of Louisville.
TargetCast tcm Inc., New York, has been serving as New York Life's media agency, and it negotiated the deal.
