Internet users searched for life insurance information on the Web about 16.6 million times in 2009, according to a Web traffic measurement firm.
Life information search activity increased 15% between 2008 and 2009, says comScore Inc., Reston, Va.
When Web users searched for the term "life insurance," about 5.8% then ended up visiting MetLife.com; 2.8% visited NewYorkLife.com; and 2.5% visited StateFarm.com.
