Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of Health and Human Services, discussed PPACA on "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart Monday night. Sebelius talked about the benefits of the act, including the fact that 2.5 million Americans who previously lacked coverage now have it. Also discussed were essential health plans: Sebelius says states will have to meet 10 categories outlined by Congress with the plans and then will have the freedom to set up benchmarks for the rest. And the MLR: insurance companies have asked for breaks, Sebelius said, but most won't get them.
