Justice Antonin Scalia took some time this week to dispel rumors during a televised interview that he has a falling out with Chief Justice John Roberts over his decision to uphold President Obama’s health care reform law. “No, I haven’t had a falling out with Justice Roberts,” Scalia said. The court’s longest serving justice also denied in general terms that the justices are prone to personal infighting. “There are clashes on legal questions but not personally,” Scalia said. “The press likes to paint us as nine scorpions in a bottle. That’s just not the case.” Much of the interview was dedicated Scalia’s new book, “Reading Law: The Interpretation of Legal Texts.”
