The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has elected a financial planner with a great deal of experience in the long-term care insurance (LTCI) market to its board.
The FPA is a large, influential financial planner group.
The new board member, Stuart H. Armstrong II, will start serving a 3-year term on the board Jan. 1.
Armstrong, a financial planner at Centinel Financial Gruup, holds the Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter designations as well the Certified in Long-Term Care designation.
Centinel sells products to individuals, families and business owners.
Armstrong is chair of the FPA diversity committee, and he has written articles about long-term care (LTC) planning for LifeHealthPro.com and the print publications affiliated with the website.
