Could a disability happen to you?

Infographic

Just how misinformed are consumers when it comes to disability insurance? They're not winning any gold stars, that's for sure. The recent LIMRA/LIFE 2013 Insurance Barometer Study notes that, while 68 percent of consumers believe that most people need disability insurance and 51 percent say they personally need disability insurance, just 30 percent own a policy.

Statistics like these leave a good amount of room for prospecting. Check out the infographic below for more data points that can help you persuade your next prospect that a disability could very well impact their ability to earn an income, whether they sit at a desk, operate heavy machinery or are somewhere in between.
