New York Life Foundation awards grant to TAPS

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), a national organization that supports the families of America’s fallen military personnel, received a $325,000 grant from the New York Life Foundation. The grant supported TAPS’ bereavement services for adults and children at its 19th Annual National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp for Young Survivors held in Washington, D.C. over the Memorial Day weekend.  

The Foundation’s funding will also support the child and teen programming at the TAPS National Military Suicide Survivor Seminar & Good Grief Camp being held Nov. 1-3 in Colorado Springs, Colo.  This program supports families who are grieving the death by suicide of a loved one who served in the military.

Craig named Craig Martin as vice president of business development and a key member of the company’s strategic growth and development team.

In this new role, Martin will be responsible for additional channels of distribution for the company, driving new memberships while cultivating relationships and managing’s Broker, Group and Network Relations departments.
