Original Broadcast Date: Wednesday, March 14, 2012
Cost: FREE

Advanced Opportunity: On March 14, 2012, Prudential’s experts on Government Affairs and Life Insurance Advanced Marketing will conduct a special webinar discussing changes that may result from this year’s federal election. Learn how these potential changes may affect you and the life insurance industry in 2013 and beyond.

2012 brings with it continued uncertainty: a deadlocked federal government, budget concerns and tax issues. And, to top it all off, it’s an election year!

But, with the federal government preoccupied with election season madness, 2012 isn’t going to be the year that all these issues come to a head—it will be 2013. So, join us to get an early primer on the important issues that will surface in 2013.

During this webinar, we will discuss:

  • How the results of the presidential election may affect taxes and the insurance industry.
  • How a post-election “lame duck” Congress will grapple with taxation and spending issues—including the impending Bush tax cut expiration, estate tax reset and more.
  • What to expect when the “real drama” begins after the new government leadership is sworn in next January.
  • Practice management strategies that will help you maintain and grow your business no matter how the political winds shift.
